Day # 1 – November 19, 2019
Welcome aboard for a fun filled festive beginning to the Holiday Season. Our travels will take us to the Louisville area for our overnight. This evening, we kick-off our American Country Christmas with one of the Midwest’s premiere entertainment venues, the Derby Dinner Theater.
Day # 2 – November 20, 2019
After an included breakfast at the hotel, we travel south to the Tennessee State Capital of “Nashville”. Upon arrival in Nashville, we will have free time to explore the Historic 2nd Street District. Quaint shops, historic landmarks like “Tootsies Bar”, The Country Music Hall of Fame and a variety of restaurants are all within walking distance. Late afternoon, we check into the Opryland Hotel for our next two-night stay. We will have time to explore this mega entertainment complex and enjoy dinner (on own) at one of the many restaurants in this mega complex. This evening we have reserve seats for the annual “Holiday Extravaganza” at the “Grand Ole Opry Theater”. Upon our return to the Opry Land Hotel, be sure to take in the millions of lights illuminating the exterior grounds of the Opry Land complex this evening.
Day # 3 – November 21, 2019
The morning is free to explore the Opry Land Hotel complex, shop at Mall Outlet or, with our included pass, ride the Delta River Flat Boats and visit “ICE”. The exhibit contains an extensive collection of ice sculptures created by artisans from around the world. Special garments are included for us to wear to warm our hearts at we explore these Holiday displays of ice. This evening’s entertainment will be at the famous “Wild Horse Saloon”. Enjoy Christmas Dinner & the Trace Atkins Show featuring our favorite Christmas music.
Day # 4 – November 22, 2019
A special treat is in store for us as we board the General Jackson Show Boat for and entertaining, festive Holiday Luncheon Cruise. We bid farewell to Nashville and travel to Paducah Kentucky for our last overnight stay. Dinner will be a special treat at Pattie’s 1880’s Restaurant. After dinner, we will have time to explore the Wonderland of Christmas Lights in the park surrounding the restaurant before checking into our hotel for the evening.
Day # 5 – November 23, 2019
Breakfast at the hotel starts this final day of our American Country Christmas. This morning we will visit Paducah’s Flood Wall Mural’s. Painted by Robert Dafford, the 50 panels showcase Paducah’s history and culture. Now sit back, relax enjoy Christmas music games and treats as we travel home with great memories of our American Country Christmas.
