April 14 Day Trip – Sunday Brunch and Drury Lane Theatre

Join us on a tasty and entertaining day trip to the Chicagoland area on Sunday, April 14. Our deluxe motorcoach will board Club members in Davenport and Moline for this fun adventure.
Bring your appetite along on this journey! We will arrive at the Drake Oak Brook Hotel at 11:15 a.m. to take our seats in the Colonial Room for the Drake’s Champagne Sunday Brunch experience with decadent offerings including made-to-order omelets, waffles, and raw bar among carving stations and an impressive selection of culinary delicacies.
After this sumptuous meal, our motorcoach will transfer us to the elegant Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook Terrace. Step into the dazzling lights of 1950’s New York City with the matinee performance of ‘Guys and Dolls.’ This enduring tale of romance, risk, and unforgettable rhythm, follows the improbable love story of high-rolling gambler Sky Masterson and mission doll Sarah Brown, along with the comedic relationship of the ever-patient Miss Adelaide and craps game organizer Nathan Detroit.
Guys and Dolls will take you into the golden age of Broadway with wit, charm, and plenty of heart with vibrant characters and unforgettable songs like “Luck Be a Lady” and “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat.”
At the conclusion of the performance, we will reboard our chartered Tri-State Travel motorcoach for the return trip to the Quad Cities with arrival at approximately 7:00 p.m.
The cost of the trip is $225 per person and includes all gratuities. To register, CLICK HERE to view and print the Registration Form, complete the form, make your check payable to Quad City Plus 60 Club, and mail to the address listed on the form.
