You are invited to attend the Quad City Plus 60 Club member’s annual picnic on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
3:30 p.m. – Starlite Ballroom building entrance doors open. (Not before!)
5:00 p.m. – Picnic meal service begins, followed by drawings & Night People band.
8:30 p.m. – Event concludes.
The Picnic is held rain or shine . . . you don’t have to be concerned about the weather! We will be inside the Starlite Ballroom at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, 2815 W. Locust Street, Davenport, Iowa to take advantage of the abundant parking, climate-controlled environment, wood dance floor, plenty of safe seating at round tables, restrooms, staffed bar, and a stage to support the live band, Night People, for your listening pleasure and to lure you out on the dance floor after we are done eating!
There will be plenty of time to grab a beverage, renew acquaintances, make new friends, and visit our sponsor tables before meal service begins at 5:00 p.m. Jeff’s Market will be serving pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, and chips. Be sure to save room for dessert – Whitey’s ice cream and your choice of a fresh-baked Hy-Vee cookie!
Registrations are accepted online until either the venue’s open-seating capacity is reached or the June 7, 2024 registration deadline, whichever occurs first.
Not a current Club member and you or your spouse is age 55 or older? Join the Club first before attempting to register, by visiting the online application website page at www.qctplus60.com/membership/ and using a credit card for the $10 individual or $15 household couple 3-year term membership. Next, return to this webpage to register and type ‘Applied’ when asked for your Club membership number.
