Dr. Bruce Chamberlain, head of Palliative Care services with Genesis Health System, is an engaging and nationally recognized speaker on the topic of palliative care. A relatively new field of medicine, palliative care focuses on assisting people with chronic diseases to live fulfilling lives, and control pain and discomfort. Most importantly, palliative care focuses on ensuring patients recognize the choices they have in charting their course of treatment.
