Galena Country Fair

For all of those who went with us to Galena last fall, we have another great opportunity for a fun day held in a beautiful location!! Tri-State Travel and your Plus 60 Club are going to the Galena Country Fair on Saturday, October 12, 2019, and we want you to come with us! Another fair, you think? Well, don’t pass on this before having all the information! This year marks the 40 Annual Galena County Fair, and you know if it wasn’t good, it wouldn’t still be operating. This seasoned traveler (and I DON’T just mean old) has learned over the years that smaller venues often go all out to make sure their activities are the best! It is held at Grant Park, one of the most gorgeous places in Galena! A few of the details are as follows:

The Vendors. This year there will be 150 hand-selected vendors from all across the country. All items are high quality, original items, and feature pottery, jewelry, clothing, wooden items, and many, many more unique items.

The Food. Where do I start? I have found out there will be chicken, pork chops, brats, sandwiches, funnel cakes, fudge, the well-known Country Bake Shop, and ice cream, to name a few. I do not know if there will be fried butter, or fried Snickers, but you can seek them out if you wish. And what will you wash all that good stuff down with? Probably the domestic and local craft beer. And, the famous wine garden will be there, too! There is definitely something that will satisfy everyone.
