Concert in the Park: Dave Ellis

June 28, 2021 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

A summer breeze makes us feel fine – especially when it carries the easy listening music of popular Quad City legendary musician Dave Ellis to our ears. Join us at Veterans Memorial Park, 1645 23rd Street, Bettendorf, Iowa from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2021 for the second concert performance in this year’s Concert in the Park series. Your Quad-City Plus 60 Board gratefully extends its heartfelt appreciation to Rasmussen Investments of Bettendorf, Iowa for sponsoring the entire 2021 series of five concerts featuring local musicians for your enjoyment as free events!

Mr. Ellis is a talented singing artist and plays the acoustic guitar and keyboard. He also has a big role as the half partner of the popular ‘The Fry Daddies.’ As a solo artist, he plays an eclectic blend of classic rock, folk, jingles, sad, funny and thoughtful sing-along songs. The best part of his performances is the humor, sincerity, and the free nature of his repertoire.

We have reserved the Bill Bowe Bandshell Stage and the nearby spacious picnic shelter with plenty of tables. You are invited to pack up your favorite non-alcoholic beverages, lunch and/or snacks, and drive over to the park to hear the live music performance of Dave Ellis! You can choose to use the nearby picnic shelter or bring a blanket and/ or lawn chairs to take advantage of the open lawn. The band shell area also has bench seating. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, sun hat and your favorite songs hit list!

Please remember to practice social distancing, as well as observe any CDC health safety protocols and local jurisdiction rules that may be in effect on the day of the concert. Restrooms, picnic tables, water fountains, and benches will be sanitized in support of health safety.

In case of inclement weather on the day of the event, an alternate rain date has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the same time and location. If the prevailing morning weather raises a question about whether the outdoor performance is being held as planned on Monday, June 28, you can call our club cell phone at 563-370-4566 on Monday morning to hear a confirmation message if the event has been postponed to the Tuesday rain date. If the weather is also inclement on the re-scheduled Tuesday rain date, the performance is cancelled.
