Healthy Habits over Lunch in Davenport

Please Note: As of Tuesday, January 10 this event cannot accept any additional reservations as received reservations have filled the Auditorium to maximum capacity. However, members desiring to attend the January program can still register to attend the same program in Silvis on January 26.

Genesis Health System, the provider of all health-related education and information for the Quad City Plus 60 Club, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Hy-Vee to provide the meals for the quarterly Healthy Habits Over Lunch seminars.

Healthy Habits, offered quarterly on Genesis Medical Center campuses in Davenport and Silvis, has provided education on a wide range of healthcare topics for over five years. Topics have included new Medicare coverage, safety in the home, fraud prevention, and other timely issues to support healthy aging and an ongoing active lifestyle.

With this partnership, those in attendance will continue to receive a free box lunch, courtesy of Genesis and Hy-Vee. In addition, Hy-Vee will place coupons or special promotions within the lunches specifically for Quad City Plus 60 attendees.

Join Glen Roebuck from Genesis for our first session in 2023, where we will discuss the Center for Active Seniors (CASI) and recognize their 50th anniversary serving the community:

• Tuesday, January 24, at Noon in the Adler Auditorium at the Genesis Heart Institute, 1236 East Rusholme Street, Lower Level in Davenport. Attendees can park in the garage just past the Institute.

You can alternatively register by sending an email to the Club at qctimesplus60@gmail.com with a subject heading of “Healthy Habits” that lists your name, membership number, daytime phone number, and the Davenport location where you will attend.

Each registration will be assigned a Confirmation Number, which registrants will receive back via a phone call or via email from the Club before the event. Please bring your confirmation number with you to the event to expedite check-in at the Healthy Habits program.
