Wine Tasting & Luncheon

As autumn leaves continue to fall, it’s time for a small group wine tasting and luncheon at Lavender Crest Winery, 5401 U.S. Highway 6, Colona, Illinois. Join us on Wednesday, November 11, at 11:30 a.m. for this 1½ hour event. Coordinate with your spouse or other Plus 60 Club member friends for a drive over to the winery in your own vehicle for this members-only fun event. When seated upon arrival at tables of four you will choose which Lavender Crest wines are in your personal wine flight with cheese & crackers. Next, you will be able to order a personal choice from the tasty lunch menu featuring:

■ several hot or cold sandwich options served with a side & pickle, or
■ one of six salads with choice of dressing, or
■ one of four wraps with potato chips & pickle, or
■ a “Pick 2 Combo” of a half cold sandwich with a garden salad or cup of soup.
The $22 advance event registration includes the wine flight tasting, your lunch selection, coffee, tea or soda with lunch, tax, and gratuity. This Plus 60 Club event has a limited attendance capacity of twenty persons.
