West Lake Hike, A scenic 3-Mile Hike

Join Plus 60 Club for a very scenic hike! Meet us at the West Lake Gate 2 parking lot just off 110th Ave on Friday, May 23, at 10:30 AM. You will find ample parking and easy access to the trailhead. There is no entrance fee.

As you embark on your three-mile hike, prepare to be captivated by the diverse flora and fauna that West Lake Park has to offer. The trail is well-marked and features a mix of paved and natural surfaces, ensuring a comfortable hiking experience. The first leg of the hike meanders alongside the lake, providing stunning views of the water and surrounding wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for ducks, geese, and various birds that call the park home. Parking and restroom facilities are available.

We suggest that you wear good supportive hiking shoes, choose appropriate layered attire in anticipation of the morning spring weather, be in good physical condition for walking and are used to hiking on natural surfaces. Please bring your own water and snack. This is a level 5 hike; you will experience some steep hills.
