Join us at 1:30-3:00pm at the Adler Auditorium on the lower level of the Genesis Heart Institute, 1236 East Rusholme Street, Davenport, for an informative presentation reviewing each tour’s itinerary and pricing. Advance registration is required for this event. Call or text John at 309-738-6826 by noon on Friday, February 10 and provide your name and Club membership number. Attendees can park in the Genesis parking ramp just past the Institute building. Your Club’s Travel Committee has been working closely with travel partner, TriState Travel, to schedule four exclusive 2023 tour departures for Club members from the Quad Cities:
Kentucky Bourbon Trail: April 23 – 27. This exclusive spring tour features unpacking your bag just once for a four-night stay in Louisville! Named after King Louis XVI of France, Louisville was founded in 1778 by George Rogers Clark, making it one of the oldest cities west of the Appalachians. During three full days in the bluegrass state you’ll visit the Louisville, Bardstown, and Frankfort regions of Kentucky’s famed Bourbon Trail exploring a selection of the distilleries known for their craftsmanship. Besides tastings on the trail, the itinerary includes free time to explore Fourth Street Live and other popular attractions in Louisville.
Eastern Circle Adventure: July 8 – 15. Visit the scenic Finger Lakes region of New York state, Niagara Falls Ontario, Niagara on the Lake, and city highlights of Detroit, including the Ford Rouge plant, historic Greenfield Village, and the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. Bring your passport on this adventure as you will visit Canada while on this itinerary.
Railroads of Colorado: August 5 – 13. Explore the Rocky Mountain vistas of Colorado featuring five memorable scenic rail excursions: the Georgetown Scenic Railroad, the Silverton-Durango Railroad, the Cumbres & Toltec Railroad with lunch, the Royal Gorge Route Railroad with lunch, and the Pikes Peak Cog Railway.
Cape Cod and the Islands: October 14 – 20. Our fall tour departs from the Quad Cities with deluxe motorcoach transportation to/from Chicago connecting with roundtrip flights to Boston that maximizes our time for exploring by deluxe motorcoach the natural beauty that lies along the shores of New England. Experience history, architecture, and New England life during visits to Providence, Newport, Plymouth Plantation, Martha’s Vineyard, Hyannis Port, and Nantucket. Tri-State Travel staff will also have information on hand for several of their other planned 2023 multi-day motorcoach tours to various destinations.
