SCC Seminar: Poets and Painters– Tour

The Muscatine Musser Art Center has one of the most outstanding 19th Century frontier art collections located anywhere on the Upper Mississippi River. Join us as the museum’s curators prepare a special Mississippi River frontier western art exhibit for us, featuring original oil paintings, lithographs and sketches by such nationally famous artists as Henry Lewis, Seth Eastman, McKinney & Hall, Grant Wood and many others. Before leaving Muscatine, we have been invited to tour Trinity Episcopal Church (the oldest Episcopal church west of the Mississippi), as well as your Montpelier, Iowa’s historic roadside Rock Island Lines Depot “Caboose.” by Coach.
