Traveling through Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky, we arrive in Nashville, our home for three nights. Unpack only once for this special trip! Our first night greets us with a Kickback Reception at the Drury Hotel, complete with beverages and snacks.

After breakfast Thursday morning we start our Nashville visit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. This is world’s largest museum dedicated to the preservation of American Country Music, and also features historic Studio B, home to 1000 American music hits, including 200 of Elvis Presley’s songs. You can eat lunch in the 2nd Street Historic District which includes dining options like the Silver Dollar Saloon, BB Kings, Joe’s Crab Shack, and more. This afternoon spend time at the new Johnny Cash Museum, known for its excellent exhibits and memorabilia on the life and music of the great legend. Dinner and a show are scheduled for the evening, including an all-you-can-eat buffet dinner and music show.

The next morning starts with a visit at The Hermitage, home of our seventh president, Andrew Jackson. Learn the history of this 1820’s home, hear of it’s devastating fire and reconstruction, as well as the life and times of President Jackson and his family. Lunch will be aboard the General Jackson Showboat, where you will be treated to a country music variety show. Upon disembarking we will visit Opry Mills, Tennessee’s largest outlet and retail shopping destination. Dinner is included tonight, after which we will attend the Grand Ole Opry show!

Getting a good night’s sleep, we will then have our final breakfast in Nashville before boarding the coach to make our way home. As you can see, this is a short trip, but certainly long enough to fulfill your wish to experience Nashville, and the important sights and sounds there.
