Chef Jeff Grunder at the Iowa Machine Shed is retiring after 40 years of working for Heart of America Restaurants. Join us for lunch at 1:00 PM at the Iowa Machine Shed, 7250 Northwest Blvd, Davenport to hear Chef Grunder speak about his 40 years of working for Heart of America Restaurants.
He will prepare a delicious staple of pot roast with mashed potatoes and gravy, buttered corn, coleslaw and bread. For dessert we will enjoy the Machine Shed’s notorious apple dumpling! A vegetarian pasta entrée alternative is also available at this luncheon.
Chef Grunder started his career as a 19-year old earning $3.90 per hour. Come listen to his tale of growing up with Heart of America restaurants and the career path he took.
The cost of this luncheon event is $30.00 per Club member. Open seating in the restaurant’s private room can accommodate a maximum of 90 attendees.
