Healthy Habits over Lunch: Davenport

Quad City Plus 60 members are invited to attend Healthy Habits over Lunch, which will be held from Noon to 1:00 p.m. featuring an informative presentation on the Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP): a free, objective and confidential service offered through the state of Iowa and Illinois to help people sort through confusing information about Medicare and health insurance.

Trained, certified volunteer counselors assist thousands of Iowans annually, helping them save millions of dollars. Local SHIIP volunteer counselors can answer your questions and give you one-on-one help. Genesis SHIIP volunteers can be reached at Genesis at 563-421-1096. Open Enrollment for Medicare is October 15 – December 7.

The Healthy Habits over Lunch October program about SHIIP services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, in the Adler Auditorium at the Genesis Heart Institute, 1236 East Rusholme Street, Lower Level in Davenport. Attendees can park in the garage just past the Institute.

Advance registration is required as a complimentary box lunch is provided by Genesis to each Plus 60 attendee. Click HERE to complete and submit your registration online by Monday, October 17, to attend the Healthy Habits over Lunch program at the location you specify on your registration.

Each registration will be assigned a Confirmation Number, which registrants will receive back via a phone call or a reply email from the Club before the event. Please bring your confirmation number with you to the event to expedite check-in at the Healthy Habits program.
