Happy Little Trees at the Figge Museum
April 22 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Your Plus 60 Art Committee is pleased to offer a new painting experience class in partnership with the Figge Museum of Art. Join in on the adventure to paint picturesque landscapes reminiscent of Bob Ross, the PBS pop icon artist. Local artist and Figge instructor Allen Holloway will guide us along the path to make a painting in one sitting. This class will feature instruction in using water-based oil paint to create a product which you can proudly take home at the end of class. The afternoon will be fun for everyone, regardless of your experience or expertise.
“Happy Little Trees” class will run from 1-3 p.m., Thursday, April 22. Mark your calendar to join in on this interesting experience. The fee for this class is $30. All supplies are furnished and the class is limited to 9 participants, so sign up early by April 15th! The small class size will enhance the opportunity for individualized instruction, which will add to your learning enjoyment. Add to your day by arriving early and enjoying a delicious lunch at the Figge Café. The cafe opens at 11 a.m. Parking is available in the Figge plaza, the levee parking lot at Harrison and River Drive directly across the street from the museum, the city parking ramp between Main and Brady, and street parking. If you have questions, call Jane at 563-449-8555.
