EICC Learn With Lunch: The Life and Times of Calligrapher Edward Catich

Everyone needs to mark this date on your calendar for a very unique opportunity to participate in a lunch-while-learning through Scott Community College and your Plus 60 Club. This late summer program will be held at the Outing Club on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 11:30, and will feature a biographical lecture about the life of Reverend Catich. Just in case you are not familiar with him, Edward Catich is world renown for his calligraphy. The seminar, which will also include a demonstration of the art of calligraphy of Father Edward Catich, will be presented by our own Quad-City artist, Paul Herrera. Paul is most known and respected for being the last apprentice of Edward Catich, working with him from 1967 – 1979. He is a true letter arts master craftsman, himself, and has participated in numerous seminars and conventions both in and outside the United States. Also available at the seminar will be a display of Catich artwork.
