Drury Lane Lunch and BEAUTIFUL Matinee

Gather your friends and join us on Thursday, March 13, 2025 for a day trip to the Chicagoland area.  We will depart the Quad Cities around 8 a.m. by motorcoach, picking up travelers in Davenport and Moline, then proceeding to the Drury Lane Theater in Oakbrook Terrace.

A prelude to the matinee performance of BEAUTIFUL begins with a 3-course lunch (featuring a Caeser salad with your choice of chicken or turkey entrée) at the Lucille Restaurant, the upscale dining venue at Drury Lane and a perfect way to begin our theater experience.

We will then cross the lovely chandeliered lobby to our seats in the theater to enjoy BEAUTIFUL, The Carole King Musical and witness the captivating story of Carole King’s meteoric rise to stardom, from humble beginnings to her undeniable status as one of the most celebrated voices in popular music. With melodies such as “I Feel the Earth Move” and “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” this production weaves an emotional tapestry rich with nostalgia. BEAUTIFUL isn’t just a musical, it’s an immersive celebration of resilience, creativity, and the authentic spirit of a music legend.

At the conclusion of the performance, we will reboard our chartered Tri-State Travel motorcoach for the return trip to the Quad Cities with arrival at approximately 7 p.m.

The cost of the trip is $179 per person and includes all gratuities.

To register, Click HERE to view and print the day trip’s Registration Form.   If you don’t have access to a home printer, you can provide the required registration information on a blank sheet of paper for sending to the Club with your check payment.  Complete the form, make your check payable to Quad City Plus 60 Club, and mail to the address listed on the form.  Registration deadline is Wednesday, February 12, 2025, or sooner if capacity is reached.  The day trip’s itinerary and confirmation of your reservation will be sent to registrants after the February 12 deadline via email or by mailing an acknowledgment to you.

Registrations are non-refundable unless the Club can substitute from members on a “Wait List” to accommodate a registrant’s cancellation request.
