Concert features Jordan Danielsen

The Quad City Plus 60 Club welcomes local artist Jordan Danielsen to the Bill Bowe Bandshell stage for a free live performance noon – 2 p.m. Monday, July 29 at Veterans Memorial Park, 1645 23rd St., Bettendorf.

Jordan Danielsen has performed as a musician for over 20 years in venues from Madison, Wisconsin to St. Louis, Missouri. A wandering loner at heart, Jordan has spent much of his musical career as a solo act. He sings, plays acoustic guitar, harmonica and drums at his shows. Always on tour and never without a song, Jordan writes from his life experiences and reflects his personality through his music. He loves performing live and finds connecting with his audience to be his inspiration. Jordan has released several CD’s over the past 15 years. Since 2023, he has hosted the “Indie Show” on Slick Willie Radio, Thursdays at 2 p.m. and Sundays at 6 p.m. at SlickWillieRadio.com that showcases the talents of his fellow musicians from the Quad Cities and around the world.

Enjoy the sunshine seated on the benches in front of the stage or have a seat in the shade of the picnic pavilion. Or you may prefer to bring your lawn chair or blanket and park yourself under the trees. Bring along lunch, snacks, water and/or your favorite non-alcoholic beverage to enjoy while listening to the concert performance. Insect repellent might be advisable if the gnats or mosquitos are bothersome to you when outdoors. A complimentary gift basket will be raffled off at intermission. You might be the lucky winner!

Restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized. Trash cans are available for your use by the picnic shelter to help keep the park beautiful. Respect for the grounds and other concert goers is greatly appreciated.

In case of inclement weather on the day of the event, an alternate rain date has been established for Tuesday, July 30, at the same time and location. If the morning weather has you questioning if the concert will go as planned for Monday, July 29, call our club cell phone at 563-370-4566 to hear a confirmation message or to learn if the event has been postponed to the Tuesday rain date. If the weather is also inclement on the Tuesday rain date, the performance is canceled.
