Community Outreach Grant Applications Deadline

October 27

The Quad-City Plus 60 Club will accept Community Outreach Grant Applications through Friday, October 27, 2023, from eligible nonprofit organizations for Fiscal Year 2024.

The Plus 60 Club has awarded over $300,000 during the past twenty years to various non-profit organizations throughout the Illinois and Iowa Quad Cities area that provide services or specific programs to those 55 and over. Proceeds from Plus 60 events fund its Community Outreach program.

Eligible applicants are any Quad-City non-profit organization or public government unit that seek funds for a Quad-City area program or project specifically benefiting those 55 years and older. The program or project must be completed between January 1 and December 31, 2024. Applications must be submitted by Friday, October 27, 2023. Applicants will be notified in November and the funding will be distributed in December, 2023, for FY 2024.

To apply, interested non-profit 501c3 organizations and public government units should Click HERE to view and download the Application. Be sure to also Click HERE to review and print the Community Outreach Guidelines applicable to your application. Complete your organization’s application and submit postmarked by mail no later than Friday, October 27, 2023 to: Plus 60 Community Outreach, PO Box 455, Bettendorf, IA 52722-0008. Or attach the completed application to an email with ”Community Outreach Application” in the subject line to qctimesplus60@gmail.com by the Friday, October 27th deadline. For more information or questions, please send an email with “Community Outreach Inquiry” in the subject line to qctimesplus60@gmail.com.

If your organization received a Plus 60 Club Community Outreach grant in December 2022 for Fiscal Year 2023, a full detailed program report must be received before being considered for FY 2024 funding. Money must have been used for the program submitted and within the 2023 grant cycle, stating how the money was used and how many seniors benefited. Click HERE for the downloadable “CO Funded Program Report Form for December 2022 awarded Grants funding FY 2023 Programs” if you still need to submit that program report.

The Quad-City Plus 60 Club, founded in 1975 as a non-profit social club, offers recreational, educational, and social activities in support of a healthy lifestyle for those 55 and over. The Club now boasts over 5,000 members. Check out our Facebook page or view our local social events and trip programs by clicking on the EVENTS Monthly Calendar tab at the top of this page.
