Brought to life using a special printing technique that emulates the look and feel of the original paintings, visitors are given a chance to engage with the artwork in ways that were never possible before: seeing every detail, every brushstroke, and every color of the artist’s 34 frescoes. Each image is accompanied by informative signage. Audio guides are available to rent for an even more in-depth experience. Those who have already visited the Sistine Chapel will find a new way of observing the art, and those who have never viewed the originals will be intrigued and inspired to someday visit Rome. We depart Davenport at 7:30 am and from Moline at 8 am aboard our Tri-State Travel motorcoach to Chicago’s western suburb of Oak Brook. We arrive at Oakbrook Center Mall in time for our 11 am reservations. As a group we are welcomed into this unique experience. When you have thoroughly enjoyed the mastery of Michelangelo at your own pace, you have 3 hours to shop Oakbrook Center Mall’s 135 stores and/or enjoy a relaxing lunch on your own at one of Mall’s 35 restaurants and food vendors. With all these choices, you are bound to find a multitude of things to occupy your time and interests. At 3:30 pm we meet at our motorcoach, load up our purchases and depart at 4 pm for home.
