We’re going to Wisconsin! Come join us for a fall day trip departing from Davenport at 7:00 am and Moline at 7:30 am on Tuesday, September 21, for this exclusive member lunch cruise on the Grand Belle sailing on beautiful Lake Geneva, followed by a visit to the Apple Barn Orchard and Winery.

Relax and enjoy all the scenic beauty of Lake Geneva. We’ll tour this spring-fed lake on the Grand Belle, one of seven boats in Lake Geneva’s Cruise Lines, while enjoying a lunch of beef tenderloin roasted with onions and mushrooms, mixed with cream sauce, served over pappardelle noodles.

The Grand Belle of Geneva is designed after turn-of-the-century steamers, including brass furnishings and pine decks. She offers generous space with a cozy atmosphere. We’ve reserved the enclosed and climate-controlled main deck, so there’s no worries about the temperatures. Want to be outside? The Grand Belle offers the bow and stern for a fresh air option of viewing Lake Geneva.

After our 2-hour cruise we will load the bus to visit the Apple Barn Orchard and Winery, in Elkhorn Wisconsin. Established back in 1846, this 150-year dairy farm was converted beginning in 1985 by Steve and his wife Judy into a vibrant orchard. You’ll have an opportunity to shop goodies, sample fruit wines and purchase from their 14 popular varieties of apples and seasonal vegetables, such as pumpkins.

The Apple Barn Winery specializes in fruit wines made from fresh non-grape fruits and berries, such as Honey Crisp Apple Harvest, Hardy Pear and Apple Barn Blend. Colorful variations include Raspberry Heritage, Summer Peach, Big Buck Blueberry and Country Rhubarb. Want to try before you buy? Wine tasting is always complimentary.

The Country Store and Bakery is the perfect place to purchase food and items made in Wisconsin. When in season, you’ll find strawberries, homegrown apples, homemade cider, fruit wines, from scratch bakery, cider donuts, caramel apples, maple syrup, local honey, jams, jellies, butters, salsas, Wisconsin cheese, recipe books, gift cards, seasonal décor, candles, unique gifts, candy and more.

The cost of the trip is only $110 per person including deluxe motorcoach transportation, admission to the main cabin and lunch aboard the Lake Geneva Cruise Boat, all gratuities and taxes. Click HERE to view and print this trip’s registration form for completion and mailing to the Club with your check payment. This is an exclusive members’ event!
