Annual Picnic

If you haven’t attended an annual Plus 60 Picnic, then you are missing out! Your volunteer Board, Officers, and past Board members are looking forward to meeting and greeting you as the Picnic Committee has been busy making sure you will have a great time!

Let it rain . . . we don’t care because we are inside the Starlite Ballroom at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, 2815 W. Locust Street, Davenport, Iowa to take advantage of the abundant parking spaces, climate-controlled environment, wood dance floor, plenty of safe seating, restrooms, staffed bar, and a stage to support a live band, Gray Wolf, for your listening pleasure and to lure you out on the dance floor!

Doors open on Wednesday, June 22, at 3:30 p.m. with time to grab a beverage, renew acquaintances, make new friends, and visit our sponsor tables before meal service begins at 5:00 p.m. A Guy and a Grill will be serving your choice of pulled pork or pulled chicken sandwiches, baked beans, chips and potato salad to satisfy your hungry tummy! Be sure to leave room for Whitey’s ice cream and delicious cookies! YUM!

Advanced non-refundable registrations are required to attend this event, are only accepted by U.S. mail until the Club reaches maximum occupancy of 440, and must be postmarked no later than Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Click HERE to view and print the Annual Picnic Registration Form, which also appears as a clip-out form on the Plus 60 page in both the Quad-City Times and The Dispatch/Argus Sunday newspapers on May 8 and 22, and June 5. The registration cost is $15/member for this annual event. If a Club Member desires to register one accompanying non-member adult as a picnic guest, the registration cost for that guest is $20.

All registrants will be automatically entered into free door prize drawings, each registrant will receive 2 beverage tickets, which can be exchanged for a bottled water or soft drink or can be applied as a $2 credit against purchasing other adult beverages at the cash bar throughout the evening.
