Lancer Productions invites you to join us for our annual Dinner Theatre on May 2nd. 9 to 5: The Musical is a high energy stage adaptation of the beloved 1980 film, featuring music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and a book by Patricia Resnik. Set in the late 1970’s, the show follows three underappreciated office workers – Violet, Judy, and Doralee – who are fed up with the egotistical, sexist boss, Franklin Hart Jr. When the series of comedic mishaps leads them to take control of their workplace, they embark on a wild and empowering journey to create a fairer more inclusive office environment.

With a lively score featuring the hit title song 9to5, along with other catchy and heartfelt numbers, the musical blends comedy with themes of friendship, resilience, and workplace equality. The characters’ struggles remain relevant today, making the show a spirited call for empowerment and change. Packed with humor, vibrant choreography, and larger-than-life personalities, 9 to 5: The Musical is an uplifting and feel-good production that celebrates the power of standing up for what’s right. Whether you’re a longtime fan of the film or experiencing the story for the first time, this musical delivers a hilarious yet inspiring look at workplace justice with a dose of Southern Charm.

Dinner starts at 5pm with dinner served at 5:45pm. The Musical 9 to 5 will start at 7:00pm. Your meal will be a catered buffet consisting of a Garden Salad, Garlic Herb Chicken Breast, Herb Roasted Pork Loin, Oven Roasted Potatoes, Macaroni and Cheese, Green Beans Amandine, Roll and butter, Dessert and Beverages.
